No sooner is he locked up than the prime suspect, Dave Weldon (Dick Jones) makes his escape. Intent on catching Weldon, Autry follows him to a medicine show run by Weldon's entire family. As part of his disguise, Autry joins the show. While using his musical talent as a cover up, Autry discovers that he's not the only one after Weldon.
