He strongly suspects that his neighbor, Max Mueller, is actually a sinister Nazi war criminal responsible for many deaths during the Holocaust. Angered that Mueller will never pay for his crimes, Lambert takes the drastic step of poisoning him. But soon, Jack comes across evidence that convinces him of Mueller's innocence! Feeling guilty (in more ways than one), Lambert does penance by shedding his girlfriend and marrying Mueller's daughter.
