A series that had the bad luck to premiere on FOX network during a "transitional year," GREG THE BUNNY had a lamentably short run but managed to attain a spot among the top 10 highest-rating shows of 2001-2002, garnering a devoted fan base. It centered around a wacky premise of humans and puppets attempting to coexist in Hollywood; Greg is a bunny who longs for success but would settle for year-round, non-Easter work. He gets his big break through his roommate Jimmy Bender, a slacker human whose father produces a children's television show called SWEETKNUCKLE JUNCTION; initially joining the show as a crew member, Greg is soon made the star, and he begins to do everything in his power to save the series from cancellation. This endeavor is complicated by the bevy of eccentric characters involved in the production, both human and puppet, including the gunhappy Junction Jack, the neurotic Dottie Sunshine, the drunken Professor Ape, and huge, masculine Susan the Monster.
