![]() on Aug 02 2007 10:05 AM In reply to this comment (#1003230) How can anybody say that OOTP barely had any classroom scenes when it had alot of classroom time versus GOF. Also aknddon3 I'm tired of your Cuaron, POA bashing. (Reply to this) |
![]() on Aug 03 2007 02:25 AM I will continue to bash a ****ty director. But whatever, you fake fans are just that, fake, so i will stop giving you guys ****. But i post you this question, after the last movie is made would you want say an animated/anime style adaptation of the books? You know like 5-10 episodes per book and that way they can give justice to the books and put stuff in there that was left out or that could not be done in the movies. (Reply to this) |

on Aug 03 2007 10:03 AM In reply to this comment (#1005827) I'd actually prefer a mini-series a few years down the road. Something not so cheap that it's horrible, but with the advances in technology I think they could make something comparable for TV in about a decade or so (Think the Dune series on TNT). That way the later longer books who've been the most subject to the editing process can finally get all those little details we true fans know and love put back in. (Reply to this) |

on Aug 03 2007 11:04 AM In reply to this comment (#1005827) Maybe. It all depends who's behind it. (Reply to this) |
![]() on Aug 03 2007 11:05 AM In reply to this comment (#1005827) Reply to aknndon3: No I wouldn't want a mini series or animated version of HP. Keep them movies as they are. Also how can you call us fake fans because we love POA? I like OOTP the best but POA second best so I and the majority of fans are not fake fans. (Reply to this) |

on Aug 03 2007 01:07 PM Oh, yeah, fake fans sure. I suppose is normal to fake fans (like apparently you think I am) to watch the UK OotP premier, live, while waiting for Jo to appear. Surely. And a you say he is a ****ty director? Then you should REALY leave this site. This site contraducts your thoughts. This site gives the Cuaron movies an average of 90% (90.33 to be exact). on Aug 07 2007 04:42 AM You know, as I have said, this site diesagrees on that too. How about Little Princess, or Children of Men? Both directed by Cuarón, both novels. And lets not left out, of course, PoA, who has the biggest rating of this site of all the Potter movies. And apparently, there's a direct link between the ones who don't like Cuarón, to the lack of using correct language, and spelling. Also appears that you, seinfeld-potter, doesn't know that capitalized letter on the Internet appear as yelling to others. Would you yeall what you've just said on a mall or a plaza? I don't think so. on Aug 07 2007 05:19 AM In reply to this comment (#1017514) You're entitled to your opinion, but what in the name of Zues' butthole does the fact that Sirius and Lupin have facial hair have to do with the movies quality...at all? Seriously guys way too nitpicky. If you can't attack the movie on it's own merits just say I didn't like it because it didn't appeal to me. Don't go looking for stuff like Ron entered the room leading with his left foot while in the book he led with his right. No PoA doesn't translate directly from the book. For me that's one of its strengths. It tries to give us something new instead of by the numbers page for page translation of the book. I don't know about you, but my imagination is good enough that trying to outdo it with a movie is a losing effort. That's what really hurt the Columbus movies I think. (Reply to this) |
![]() on Aug 10 2007 07:58 PM In reply to this comment (#1017514) Reply to seinfield-potter: You're wrong my friend, POA was the best film before OOTP came out. Cuaron was faithful to the heart and story of the book, and made the film as a complement to the book. (Reply to this) |

on Aug 18 2007 12:52 PM "Deathly Hallows and Alphonso Cuaron where made for each other!" LMAO!!! i agree with you! Those who just say Cuaron is crap without giving more insight to your opinion should really shut the **** up, if youre gonna say things say them right. "Deathly Hollows is probably the best book of the bunch. Thanks to Cuaron, Azkaban is the best film; but, to be honest, I'd rather have a "safer" director like Yates do Hollows. I would love to see Cuaron's take; but, for the sake of the series as a whole, I think Hollows needs to be a straight up adaptation. If Cuaron can restrain himself, however, we're in business." I dont agree but thats something respectable since he does give a valid point! (Reply to this) |

![]() on Sep 03 2007 04:33 PM In reply to this comment (#1017698) Reply to Dreyesbo: That's always the connection I see also. Seriously people, some of you may hate Cuaron and POA and you're entitled to your opinion but some of you don't have to be so darn agressive about it. (Reply to this) |
