Phil A. writes: on Oct 09 2009 07:50 PM I really don't understand how negative the reviews are.I was suprised to see that only Ebert seemed to like this movie, which is delightful. I am also suprised to see that no one compared it to or saw it as a modern rendition of a Cary Grant or William Powell comedy of errors, for it had that kind of flavor as well as great dialogue and characters who got so caught up in the "fiction" that they began to believe it themselves and relate from the fictionalized character's standpoint--not just Davis and Gwen, but Gwen's "parents" too.
