Wahlberg Joins "Departed" Cast
Mark Wahlberg is in negotiations to join Leonardo DiCaprio and Matt Damon in the cast of Martin Scorsese's next film, "The Departed," according to the Hollywood Reporter. A remake of the Hong Kong film "Infernal Affairs," "The Departed" will be produced for Warner Bros. The film involves a cop and a gangster who each infiltrates the opposite respective organization and tries to discover the other's identity as a mole.

The only part I dont like is that Orlando Bloom is in it. Sorry, but i cant get over the fact that he looks like a girl. I'm not even sure how they plan to squeeze Wahlberg into the movie. He's far too young to play any of the bosses. Knowing Scorsese, however, he'll probably stretch the movie to 3+ hours and find a way to create 25 new characters. Let's hope he doesn't ruin the basic premise of the movie. (Reply to this) |
