Synopsis: Tadeusz Lomnicki stars as Dr. Andrzej Bazyli, a free-spirited young man plagued by his attractiveness to women. Eager for a respite from female attention, he's confronted by yet another young woman, Pelagia (Krystyna Stypulkowska), who has virtually forced her way into his room. But his weary indifference is dispelled when Pelagia proves to be in every way a match for the sharp physician. Throughout the night, the two engage in a battle of wits, spar psychologically, exchange put-downs, and fall into mutual misunderstandings. Yet their relationship remains one of posturing and pretence, their masks preventing the expression of any hint of affection or desire. INNOCENT SORCERERS is an enjoyably spiky romantic comedy.
