Between Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, and X-Men Origins: Wolverine, you can expect your local cineplex to be a very Marvel-lous place for the foreseeable future. How about an advance look at the studio's tentpole trio?

Empire's latest issue -- featuring a tank top-clad Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark on the cover -- includes early glimpses at The Incredible Hulk (a shot of Edward Norton Hulkin' out and William Hurt as General Ross), Wolverine (an in-your-face view of Wolvie's claws) and Iron Man (the aforementioned cover shot). So what are you waiting for? Go on and feast your eyes -- the photos are just a click away!

Looking forward to all of these....Though that cover makes Robert look scrawny as hell.

Marvel might finally get it right with this lineup. Wolverine sounds better and better with each bit of news we get on the casting and Ironman and Hulk don't skimp on the star power either.

Bring it on. Dark Knight may be DC's big entry and the most anticipated upcoming comic film, but that's all DC has got going for it. Marvel has diversified and its upcoming triple threat will out gross combined whatever the Dark Knight will make. Sounds like Marvel's the big winner here.

Welcome Salsacaliente88.

I'm hopeful for all three movies, but skeptical of all three also.

Iron Man looks to have the most potential, but I'm worried about the story and having a good villain.

I thought the first Hulk was just ok, but captured The Hulk brilliantly. I love Norton as an actor, but I don't know if this is a good role for him. He'll probably pull it off. Once again Hulk needs a good villain to fight and it sounds like he'll get one this time.

Wolverine is about as bad-*** as characters get in the Marvel universe and I haven't seen him portrayed the way I'd like to see him yet. They've given us moments in the X-Men movies where I thought I saw him, but he's honestly a hard character to portray in a live-action movie IMO. Jackman is doing a great job as always, and hopefully this movie will deliver, but it's the one I'm most skeptical of. Having Gambit show up in Wolverine's origin story is being done for no other reason than the popularity of Gambit, which is already a knock on the movie. Hopefully they won't have Wolverine teaming up with him, as Wolverine is by nature a loner, and he's not supposed to like Gambit. Maybe they'll fight.

That pic of Ed Norton alone is one of the reasons I respect him-- Dude completely freakin' LOSES himself in every role. 'looks like he's going to blow a gasket, and I can only imagine how many takes they had to do. As a former serious weight-lifter, I can tell you that it's not easy to do a whole body flex-out like that for any real period of time, to say nothing of doing it again and again.

If the director of Wolverine does what he did with Tsotsi, it'll be great. That movie had a great threat of menace and danger throughout. He did after all win one of them little gold statue things.

Ed Norton will bring it as Bruce Banner. The dude is a frickin bonafide thespian.

As for Iron Man, the same thespian qualities apply for R.D.Jr. He has some awesome acting chops. Take for instance his little bit in the car with the soldier and the gang signs... that was golden. Hopefully Jon does a bit stronger direction than Zathura, that was a little flat.

if that pic makes downey look "scrawny" to you...you're either on roids or you are morbidly obese. i'm guessing the latter...

the Hulk pic is really bad...i'm getting two vibes. he's doing his best Jenna Haze impression(open up, its coming...) or he's got a massive turd comin'. or i guess...he's mimicking Katherine Heigl in Knocked up. still like the fact that they have established actors in that but, again...its the Hulk, not bruce banner. show me the frikkin big guy. we already know Norton will probably do well in his role, show us the STAR...

oh, and show us the villian of the Hulk if you wanna draw in the general public and draw interest. the worst thing about the previous Hulk was that he had no good villian to fight. woo, a frikkin poodle on roids...and a hobo dad. fascinating...

is it even remotely possible that wolverine's claws won't look like complete trash? that still looks laughably bad. i still think the movie will be solid, but if the filmmakers are satisfied with shooting for the quality of the cg claws in the x-men movies, they're aiming way low.

Actually I am I lift weights daily to get my body cut without any kind of enhancers and I was not comparing him to myself but to the other pictures of himself when he is forging the iron (He looks more cut in that picture). Why the personal attacks?

I think all three of these films are going to be ridiculously awesome. Wolverine was the reason most people watched the X-Men trilogy, so it only makes sense to give him his own show. The Hulk was a major bomb, but with Edward Norton in the follow up, there's reason to be excited. I think Iron Man has the biggest potential for failure. There's a lot of hype coming with this movie, anything less than extraordinary will be a major letdown.

Iron Man, I have confidence in. I'm cautiously optimistic about Hulk. Wolverine am the most nervous about, but not as much as I was a few months ago. That said, I approve of the pics.

Wolverine will suck, badly. The last two times they decided to give supporting players their own films, we got Catwoman and Elektra, and simply having an actor who by now can probably slip into his character like a glove doesn't change much.

But hey, Deadpool is in it.

He does look a little scrawny in the picture. With his arms in that fly position it looks like he's trying to hide them in the shadows or something, I see what you're saying. Which is weird because in the trailers it doesn't look like that at all.

Dude, I couldn't let this one go:

*IT'LL* is the conjunction of IT and WILL

*AWESOME* is "the state of something that inspires AWE"

If English is your second language, then no big, and I apologize for any embarrassment.

If English is your first language, ..then holy SH#T and every little bit helps.
