Jane lives with her... With a pop culture look at growing up and young alienation, David Michael Latt's wacky and outlandish feature tells the story from the unique inner perspective of Jane White. Jane lives with her highly disturbed mother, sedating herself with television and longing to be reunited with her talk show host dad Gerry, who hosts the most outrageous television talk show on the air. In hopes of getting booked on the show, she transforms herself into outrageous characters like the ones on The Garry Show, and along the way makes the acquaintance of many talk show 'weirdos' and 'freaks' along with aliens and a prospective boyfriend who might be a serial killer. This comedy features an outlandish cast from pop culture history such as David L. Lander (Laverne & Shirley), Danica McKellar (The Wonder Years), Maureen McCormick (The Brady Bunch), Ted Shackleford (Knot's Landing), Michelle Phillips (Knot's Landing), Dustin Diamond (Saved by the Bell), Richard Kline (Three's Company), and the universally recognized television voice of Gary Owens. Achieves that rare balancing act of skewering a subject while simultaneously paying homage to it.

Any movie that has to proclaim itself as being sick and twisted is trying too hard, which sums up this would-be satire.

Jane White is Sick and Twisted is never going to be mistaken for an Oscar Winner or Merchant-Ivory production. I mean that as a compliment.
