Jennifer Lopez has gone through many personal transformations in her brief but varied career: from humble, Bronx-born Jenny-from-the-block and nameless IN LIVING COLOR fly-girl to tabloid-grabbing silver-screen actress and popular dance-music diva. Hoping for another metamorphosis after her highly publicized breakup with actor Ben Affleck and subsequent marriage to Latin pop heartthrob Marc Anthony, Lopez continues her chameleon-like self-invention on the aptly named 2005 album REBIRTH. Produced by such luminaries as Rodney Jerkins and Cory Rooney, and featuring guest performances by Fat Joe, Fabolous, and new husband Anthony, REBIRTH serves up a diverse mix of club-ready dance tracks ("Get Right," "Cherry Pie"), breezy R&B-flavored pop ("Still Around," "I Love"), and straightforward heartbreak ballads ("He'll Be Back," "Can't Believe This is Me"). This dual disc features the CD version of REBIRTH on one side and a DVD-Audio version with surround sound mix and bonus video material (including a making-of documentary and two music videos) on the other.
