Blogger Stumbles into "Rambo 4" Territory
by Scott Weinberg | November 17, 2006

Some blogger in Thailand wandered into his favorite restuarant, bumped into Sylvester Stallone, and came back with a few scoops regarding "Rambo 4." Cool!

From the Under My Hat blog: "Seriously, yes - it's for "Rambo IV: Eye of the serpent"!! He may have come out of "retirement" for this film, but he isn't exactly on crutches! Just thought I'd share with you a few pics I took on the sly (*pun*) ... They're filming here in January."

[b]We need another hero
Id love to see Rambo back on the screen; but let's face facts the last two films are better left for nostalgic 80's childhood references. Like a recent editorial in GQ mentioned; the era of heroes is gone. It went onto explain how Stallone, Willis, Schwarzenegger, Gibson and perhaps Ford carried on the tradition of McQueen,'The Duke', Marvin and Eastwood in the 80's; but ultimately killed it through mockery. Now we know longer see cool grizzled loners who were actuall men instead we get young metrosexual "ghetto" attitude punks, i.e. FAST AND THE FURIOUS, XXX, S.W.A.T . So for that article and reports on the studio's demands of a young cast, Im not really looking forward to a new film, because I know we'll be getting a neutured polictically correct Rambo.
