This sequel to THE LIBRARIAN: QUEST FOR THE SPEAR finds Flynn Carsen (Wyle) leaving the bowels of the New York Public Library in search of the mythic mines of King Solomon. Oscar-winning actress Olympia Dukakis plays Carsen's concerned mother, with TV veterans Bob Newhart and Jane Curtin reprising their roles from the original film. These movies are unabashedly fun, a breezy cocktail of dopey action and broad laughs.
