These locations included South Africa and all of the G8 nations, where over 1,000 musicians performed in the spirit of increasing awareness to issues facing impoverished nations. Some of the topics being stressed to the Summit leaders were debt relief, AIDS, the importance of fair trade, and an increase in U.S. aid to struggling countries.
