And James Christopher, it's not about the dog's whims and moods, it's about tragedies and high points in the family's life and how their pet added to them, plus how he reacted in difficult times e.g. the miscarriage scene. Plus the unconditional love he provides. (Reply to this) |

Kevin S. writes: on Jul 22 2009 11:26 PM you don't even know what you're talking about. the people in this movie don't base their lives around the dog. it's a true story of how a family adopts a crazy dog. think twice before you post an ignorant review (Reply to this) |

John O. writes: on Oct 11 2009 11:36 AM Your review only serves to reinforce the films point. Its petty critiques are a good example of the complicated and often brutal society we humans inflict upon each other. The simple, and albeit self indulgent, pleasures which Marley enjoys provide some of us joy and relief. Not every film has to achieve cinematic perfection to hit the mark. Kudos to Wilson and Anniston for putting hearts into the love story that so often goes untold. (Reply to this) |
