Teri Polo is Expecting a "Little Focker"
by Scott Weinberg | February 01, 2007
Discuss Article
Don't even pretend to be surprised when I tell you that a movie called "Meet the Little Focker" is on its way. Don't even try it.

Yes, that's right. A second sequel in the series that includes "Meet the Parents" and "Meet the Fockers." We can only assume that this new one involves Ben Stiller and Teri Polo as new parents.

Ms. Polo, as a matter of fact, is the one who recently spilled the beans (to the Associated Press) about the new sequel's title. That's pretty much all the news we have on this project thus far, but thanks to ComingSoon.net for sharing it. It seems a safe bet that Ben Stiller, Robert De Niro, and Blythe Danner will be back, and probably Dustin Hoffman and Barbra Streisand, too. But the most important cast member in the whole series has to be the cat who sits on the toilet. People really seem to love that gag.

And before you type something like "Dear Lord, WHY?" in the comments section, be sure to stop by the "Fockers" page and check out the box office returns. That's why.

How many times can you do a joke on the whole "Focker" name? I think it would get repetitive by this film. Besides, what possible creative reason could there be for this movie to exist? It will end up just rehashing the first two movies and have nothing new to offer. This is only being done for financial reasons.

I'm absolutely baffled that some of you would be brave enough to post a POSITIVE opinion on "Meet the Fockers"! It was one of the most God awful movies I have ever seen in my life, easily makes my top ten worst of all time (I actually sat through The Last Action Hero...I didn't sit through this), and is an insult to my intelligence. The first one was good. Seeing it for the first time, I had a great time and laughed quite a bit. The movie gets a little old after a while, but I could live with that. But then they have to go and make one of the worst sequels in the history of bad sequels. Ugh. The movie made me want to vomit. It was a completely different film from the first one. They were trying way too hard. The jokes were either recycled or far too juvenile (how many poop jokes were there?), and the acting was so over the top, it just wasn't funny! Some of you LIKED THIS MOVIE??? Go and have your head examined. Nobody is going to see this third film, which will be twice as absurd as the previous film, with twice as many poop jokes I'm sure of it. God help us all. I honestly did not know that they were making this...and I'm sorry I found out.

whats the problem?
it's so lame when people act like they've been personally affronted by a movie they didnt like. guess what, enough people found it funny enough to warrant another sequel, so get over it. dont like it? dont watch it. I liked both, and ill be there for the third. sometimes i go to the theater just to laugh at potty jokes. . . i promise, the world isn't going to end.

Jay Roach should be working on another Austin Powers film instead.

I loved Meet the Parents. But I absolutely was AMAZED at how amazing Meet the Fockers was. I found myself watching Meet the Fockers on HBO for probably the twentieth time, wanting more, wanting a sequel.

I simply cannot wait. I only wonder if production has started or if they're just in pre-production, or what.. I doubt they're in production right now, however, unless they're incredibly amazing at keeping things on the down-low.
