With wacky humor appealing to kids and parents alike, this variety series featured all the favorites in Jim Henson's gang: Kermit, Miss Piggy, Animal, Rowlf, Fozzie, Rizzo, Gonzo, and more. Beaker meeps, the Pigs in Space try to save the universe, and Kermit just tries to keep the show from falling apart. With musical numbers, sketches, backstage insight, and less-than-helpful cooking tips from the Swedish Chef, life at THE MUPPET SHOW is never boring. Maintains a very high standard of comedy and imagination but it also shows signs of developing. It keeps the show's spirit and also shows viewers that there's more waiting beyond the lights and curtains they're used to.
