Synopsis: Simon (Eduardo Noriega) is a young writer who is suffering from crippling writer's block, making his living designing crossword puzzles for a newspaper in Seville, Spain. Simon (Eduardo Noriega) is a young writer who is suffering from crippling writer's block, making his living designing crossword puzzles for a newspaper in Seville, Spain. As Palm Sunday approaches, he receives a message stating that he must include the word "adversary" in the puzzle to be published closest to that holiday. He follows the directions as a precaution, and his action unleashes a deadly sequence of terrorist acts which he is rapidly implicated in. With only his girlfriend (Paz Vega) and a newspaper reporter (Natalia Verbeke) to trust, Simon is suddenly trapped in a terrifying game.
