National Treasure 2 Poster Online!
Nicolas Cage make fire! Fire good!

We've seen stills and a pair of trailers for National Treasure: Book of Secrets, due December 21. How's about a poster?

Yep, the one-sheet for the National Treasure sequel is up and ready to be scrutinized to bits by graphic designers all over the Web. Dig it:

Well? What do you think?

Just to remind you what to expect from Nicolas Cage and company this time around, here's the movie's synopsis:

In this follow up to the box-office hit "National Treasure," treasure hunter Ben Gates (Nicolas Cage) once again sets out on an exhilarating, action-packed new global quest to unearth hidden history and treasures.

When a missing page from the diary of John Wilkes Booth surfaces, Ben's great-great grandfather is suddenly implicated as a key conspirator in Abraham Lincoln's death. Determined to prove his ancestor's innocence, Ben follows an international chain of clues that takes him on a chase from Paris to London and ultimately back to America. This journey leads Ben and his crew not only to surprising revelations -- but to the trail of the world's most treasured secrets.

Wait... why... When exactly does Nicolas Cage's skull burst into fire, on this poster?
Oh, Ok, wait... I get it. That's was a completely different "bomb" from Cage...
This is Nick Cage's newly anticipated "bomb"... Ok. I get it now.

My excitement for the sequel to National Treasure is inversely proportionate to my excitement for the sequel to Batman Begins.

Why does Nicholas Cage looks like a mannequin wearing a wig?

If that's the official poster then someone should be fired. There's waaaaay too much going on there.

"Let's include every image we can!"

After the first National Treasure, Disney and Jerry Bruckheimer should pay us this sequel. What a waste of time.

Meant that *they should pay us to see this sequel*.

That really is just a terrible, terrible poster.

Never saw the first, doubt I'll be seeing this. Nicolas Cage is like the film-version of Gary Busey.

Crazy, crazy bastards...

I'm going to see the movie, because I actually liked the first, but that is just a horrible, horrible, horrible, poster.

... the poster looks alright, like the pose is fine but it contradicts his surroundings. He's holding a torch yet the ground is on fire... wtf

Maybe he set fire to the ground with his torch, hewpot... Huh? Huh? Clever, right?
As 'clever' as a Nicolas Cage starring movie can get...!!

That doesn't even make any sense. Plus, the fire in the photo is just used for effect, to make the poster look even cooler, and it ultimatley fails.

the poster is good the stuff in the background are supposed to repersent the places he has to go in the mvies i dont think that its to much, the torch it think is in reference to the first movie. not sure really about the fire but i guess that you'll have to watch the movie to find out. as for nic cage he just looks funny in the picture because hes getting older, and to reply to Sundaysmile03 about why they are still making nic cage movies are because Nicolas Cage is AWESOME!!!!
