One night, when Nestor is locked out in the cold, he begins to wander the desert. When he becomes lost, Nestor is certain he's a goner, but much to his surprise, the donkey is visited by an angel, Tilly. She tells him that he's very important in God's plan and must help carry two travelers--Joseph the carpenter and his pregnant wife, Mary--to a manger in Bethlehem. There Nestor witnesses something miraculous and extraordinary--the birth of a baby who will change history forever. With NESTOR, directors Arthur Rankin and Jules Bass (FROSTY THE SNOWMAN, RUDOLPH'S SHINY NEW YEAR) team up to deliver yet another unforgettable stop-motion animated holiday special. A funny mix of DUMBO and THE LITTLE DRUMMER BOY, the film is a funny, touching Christmas odyssey that leaves audiences with tears in their eyes and fuzzy feelings in their hearts. [More]
