A gym owner and single mother, Christine's on surprisingly good terms with her husband after the split. But she suffers a blow when her ex, Richard (Clark Gregg), starts dating a younger woman, also named Christine. Inspired to start living her life again, "Old Christine" jumps back into the singles world with hilariously mixed results. While Louis-Dreyfus's comic sensibility hasn't lost its edge, with plenty of oddball situations and standoffs with "meanie moms," she lends her character an added note of vulnerability that gives the show an emotional core that SEINFELD, for all its nine seasons, didn't have. An irreverent take on modern motherhood, this collection presents every episode of the show's second season which finds Christine coming to terms with her new life and discovering love in some of the most unexpected places.
