Though engaged to her disreputable boyfriend, Lillian wakes up next to a man she doesn't recognize, and while she tries to work things out, the guy next door won't stop playing his violin. One by one, she has to deal with the New Age guru down the hall, a couple of drug addicts and the women they've hired, the prostitutes' pimp (Robert Wagner), and the other sundry characters who've found their way there.
