...crude and unfunny, one of those movies that seem to be put together by cynical marketers who have reason to be convinced American moviegoers will laugh at — and celebrate — any movie that “dares” invoke scatological play and sexual titillation.
Plumbs new depths of offensiveness for its stomach-churning crudities.
For anyone for whom these films are a guilty pleasure, this pretty much delivers in terms of silliness and over-the-top laugh attempts.
Not Another Teen Movie is a little like watching Christina Aguilera make fun of Britney Spears.

Not too bad as long as you know what you're getting into...
The targets may be obvious, but director Joel Gallen and his squad of screenwriters happen to be the first to open fire. They can't help but score plenty of hits.

Top CriticThis scattershot and dissolving satire accomplishes nothing more than recycling copycat material from the idiotic teen films of today and yesteryear it thinks it's skewering in savvy fashion.
Nothing here breaks new ground, but funny is funny is funny, and Joel Gallen's sly little movie is funny enough.
A blandly attractive cast, hit and miss jokes, excessive helpings of scatological humor, unsure direction? Sure seems like another teen movie to me.
We can proudly agree that it is indeed the most Obvious and Hypocritical comedy of 2001.
Almost immediately disposable, fading from memory before it even ends.
