Hoffman's beloved children's story, THE NUTCRACKER AND THE MOUSEKING follows a pampered prince who lives in an exquisite castle and gets everything his heart desires. His magician uncle Drosslemeier (the voice of Eric Idle) wants to teach the spoiled boy a lesson. While playing with two magic nuts, the prince carelessly declares that life would be so much better if everyone were a toy. Suddenly, he and his entourage turn into toys. Now, in their absence, the evil Mouseking (the voice of Leslie Nielsen) is trying to usurp the throne. Uncle Drosslemeier enlists the help of Clara (of THE NUTCRACKER story) to help reverse the spell and save the kingdom from tyranny. [More]
