"Pirates 3" Trailer is Here! Fun!
If you missed it during "Dancing with the Stars" and you didn't bother trolling through Yahoo! around midnight last night, you needn't worry. The brand-new (and very stellar) trailer for "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End" is now ready for consumption. (And then check out this swanky flip-book!)
Click right here to enjoy 2.5 minutes worth of Jack Sparrow, Will Turner, Elizabeth Swann, Captain Barbossa, Davy Jones, Pintel, Righetti, and (yay!) the monkey. Of course there's a bunch of funny quips and stellar landscapes, but it's the second half of the trailer that houses all the action bits. (Jack and Davy sword-fighting at the bow of that ship is just too damn cool.)

Opening May 25th, the inevitably massive "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End" stars the whole gang you know and love, plus this one's also got Chow Yun Fat and Keith Richards! (Never thought you'd see those two guys in the same movie, did you?)

Feel free to share your thoughts about the trailer in the comments section. I still think the "Dead Man's Chest" trailer was a little better, but ... we're just talking about promotional clips, after all. As far as trailers go, this one's quite a doozy. Enjoy!

on Mar 20 2007 04:02 AM Awesome I gotta admit, the trailer looks good Its great and I can't wait to see the movie, it's true also that the trailer for dead man chest was good (especially the introduction of Davy Jones) but like the part well all this half man half fish comes out of the water, I didn't like that part and I just saw the movie in my head, jack will be fighting fish people in this one. but I'm sort of happy since well, there will be you know real people like, Barbosa, show yun fat , and the rest of the pirates, I love the Idea of Immortal Pirates crusin in the Caribbean sea,and How jack plays his tricks and how he almost always gets away with it It's a great adventure, you see the first pirate was great for me because of It's story telling and many (great)twists and humor and fight scenes the whole thing, I found the Immortal pirates (In the first one), refreshing, but the second one could have been better. I tried to like it, watch it again, but the Immortal fish pirates didn't really excite me. (I did Love How Davy Jones character came out Though) I just wish they spent time to develop and turn his crew into some thing great, than to have a guy who can still speak after his head is knock off his body,(follow my voice, follow my voice) and like one with a shark head. on Mar 20 2007 04:38 AM I see loads of Moolahs!!! All that flashed before your eyes in the first trailer, all that is money flooding in.I see huge money coming to the studios and for this film. The whole trailer was loads of fun,and also a bit of messy, but it calls for money and nothing more.Every frame is about getting maximum amount of money at the box office and there's no doubt it will top the second on and break records.I'm scared that it might just top Spidey, which I don't want. on Mar 20 2007 05:32 AM I was hoping that jack and elizabeth will end up together but judging from the trailer, it looks like they wouldn't. Aw, shucks! Anyways, the trailer's just so cool and i bet the movie will be just as great. Spidey's gonna rake in millions but i'm betting Pirates 3 will be the no. 1 top-grosser. Let the battle of summer movies begin! Yarrr!!! (Reply to this) |

on Mar 20 2007 07:00 AM It still blows my mind how they got Chow Yun Fat into a PIRATE movie, of all things. Let's hope thing movie puts his talent to good use. (Reply to this) |

on Mar 20 2007 07:34 AM It's time to stop the haters . . . For all the people who hated DMC and figured the end was going to be there, then here you go . . . AMAAAAAZING Spiderman is going to be crushed this summer and it won't even be close . . . I would be surprise if Spiderman 3 gets 350 milion dollars . . . Pirates will reign top at a cool 500 million dollars just in the United States and that is gurantee (Reply to this) |

on Mar 20 2007 08:04 AM I had already watched this trailer on youtube in Russian, looked good for the most part but when I saw it on Yahoo! this morning I felt the HD quality made the trailer all the better, my friends could tell you this that I am a huge Pirates fan and can't wait the two months for this one to come out. on Mar 20 2007 08:27 AM It doesn't matters who gets killed because Barborsa died and came back. Jack Died and is back, and I think Elizabeth and Jack may hit it off after all. I see more screen time and chemistry with them. (Reply to this) |
![]() on Mar 20 2007 08:46 AM i have always been one to say DMC is only half a movie and the second half at worlds end looks to bring both halfs to an amazing movie. (Reply to this) |

on Mar 20 2007 09:05 AM LOOKS AMAZING!!! It's was a great trailer....I will admit that I hope certain parts of this movie aren't drawn out to long...like in DMC with the cannibals on the island....ya know? (Reply to this) |
|
on Mar 20 2007 09:18 AM I just hope it's better than DMC. I doubt it though. (Reply to this) |
![]() on Mar 20 2007 09:43 AM Was Keith Richards in the trailer? Because I did not notice him if he was. (Reply to this) |

on Mar 20 2007 10:09 AM I'm soooo glad Geoffrey Rush is back, i love Bill Nighy, but Barbossa was the shit. (Reply to this) |

on Mar 20 2007 10:16 AM In reply to this comment (#858740) At about the 2:10 mark in the trailer, Keith Richards makes his corally appearance...or so I believe. Yay for being a Sea Sponge...and, unfortunately, part of Davy Jones's crew. Regardless, I'm quite excited. I got to see this (in english) on YouTube before they took it down, but this format makes it so much better! Yay! (Reply to this) |

on Mar 20 2007 10:38 AM I clapped at the end of that trailer. From the looks of things, this movie will (hopefully) be MUCH better than the second one. As odd as it sounds, Jack Sparrow was almost a distraction in the second one... it was like he didn't belong in that kind of story. This movie looks like it's not going to go so much for the slapstick that the second one did and really focus on the darker aspects of the story. And I, for one, can't wait. (Reply to this) |
