Their mission... A meteor has struck Earth and most of the planet has become an icy wasteland. A few tough-skinned soldiers head up an operation to locate a forgotten but still operable satellite. Their mission changes course when their aircraft is mysteriously destroyed. The team manages to escape the wreckage and make an emergency landing in Europe, now a vast iceberg. During this sequence, there are some fantastic depictions of prominent landmarks (for example, the Eiffel Tower) buried in snow. The group discovers a stranded group of survivors who desperately need their help. This polished production starring Dean Cain offers a compelling depiction of futuristic technology and vehicles modified to accommodate the Ice Age. [More]
