honestly guys...the joke is on us. REGARDLESS how much you hate the guy...he's marketing the sh3t out of these movies. anybody have any sort of data in the last week or so on the #'s of those movies rented??? i bet you ANYTHING they're higher than normal. yeah his movies are garbage and SOMEhow he gets talent to be in them...but he still has a job. with this marketing campaign...somebody will see that he's got almost 200,000 VIEWERS and anti fans...and give him more $ to make another movie. in the day and age where HORRIBLE sh3t like Saw and crap like Prom Night rule...i think in the long run...this only helps sustain his career.

he's right up there with George Lucas in his ability to make GOOD actors...look so incredibley bad. watching Bloodrayne was like watching Sith...and seeing Sam Jackson in that absolutely dreadful Emperor/Vader scene at the near end(i cried laughing). the ONLY actor that did well in the entire prequels was my boy Mgregor. everybody else at one time or another was laughable. Boll does that with every scene of every flick. he takes decent actors and just makes them into middle school drama students. hate him or not...thats a special quality...

this guy is hilarious. he's actually more entertaining than the movies he makes. and i can't believe that online petition against him that's been floating around for YEARS has actually gotten to him. and starting his own pro-Boll petition is only asking for it to get defiled with horrific comments smashing him.

i wish i had gotten the chance to fight him, i have three years of boxing training and lift weights 5 days a week. but of course, he wouldn't pick anyone who would actually put up a real fight against him.

That's one of the funniest things I've ever seen.

This guy is in the wrong line of work. Stop making movies. Start putting videotaped rants online.

Everybody wins.

holy god... I feel ****ing ashamed right now, not only for his utterances, but also for his crappy accent..people, PLEASE do NOT consider this low life SOB to be representative of anyone or anything here in germany...i'm sorry but i just felt compelled to say this. he's a ****ing disgrace and i have no idea why this village idiot gets to make american games into movies...bay, roth (and clooney) are all very very very popular in germany, and he just isn't. i just wanted to get that off my chest. please don't associate him with the general moviegoing audience in germany.

In all likelihood he's playing us like suckers because although he is generally hated by film fans and critics, any publicity at all of any kind seems to strengthen his resolve, or draw attention to his films. If he didn't make these kind of wild claims people would probably lose interest and start to forget about him, because really there's a thousand filmmakers just as amateur or incompetent as he seems to be. What makes him remarkable is the unjustified bravado and stubborn persona he adopts and presents to the press. If his films fail, he's reimbursed, and if they succeed, well...

Love him or hate him, you got hand it to him. Uwe Boll has BALLS.

As a video game fan, I have to say it upsets me to see him contribute to the butchery of great video game storylines. Hollywood seems to have a knack for taking video games with great plots and rewriting them to be complete garbage.

Again, I respect him. He doesn't make movies to sell out. He's crazy passionate about video games and as a gamer, I respect that. Though I'm not a fan of his movies, I'm not sigining the petition to stop him out of respect from one gamer to another.

Besides, out of all the the bad films that come out each year, his are the best (I mean least painful to watch.) Out of all the spoof movies, raunchy comedies, torture porn and all the other teenage-ghetto crap, I'd rent an Uwe Boll flick any day. I'd just choose The Bourne Ultimatum or Juno over his films.

Can't believe this guy...
At least Michael Bay produces entertainment.
Uwe Boll?
I could puke if I have to watch Alone in The Dark, or House of The Dead once again

This guys has bolls of steel. He gets free advertising, his new movie Postal might be the best reviewed movie he made to date.

A petition to prevent him from directing is pointless, he has the money to do it, he does! He gets funded... good for him! I don't see anyone writing petitions against Middle Easter Sultans that have golden palaces paid in gas money... (oh wait I received something like that by email).

For every anti-Boll a Pro-Boll must rise, so is the ultimate fight between good and evil must endure.

He should quit film-making and become a pro boxer. Then again he can only beat film critics with no fighting experience. Put him in bouts with real boxers and he'd fail there too.
