Stephen Dorff and John Cleese star in director Eugenio Zanetti's futuristic thriller that includes subatomic explosions and complicated scientific experiments while giving the viewer the opportunity to view each scene from a variety of angles. Zanetti's film is visually stunning, with special effects worthy of its very complex subject matter. Dorff plays Paul Pentcho, a quantum physicist who is searching for his place in a world he is trying to understand--one electron at a time. After going into the particle acclerator tunnel, his world is suddenly distorted, with bizarre electrical impulses setting off strange events involving a talking electron, a beautiful woman named Mia (Fay Masterson), and his father (John Cleese), who was supposed to have been dead.
