Indiana Jones and the Summer Job
As far as "Indiana Jones 4" goes, here's what we have so far: a script, a director, a producer, a leading man, a release date ... and now a production date -- just so you know this movie is actually (finally) happening.
Straight from Steven Spielberg's lips: June 18th is when "Indy 4" will begin production. (Ah, there's another thing we don't have yet: the movie's title.)
I know it might seem silly to spend a whole news item for info as basic as that, but c'mon, how often do we get a new "Indy" adventure??

While posessing character qualities complimentary to those of Ford, Tennant can bring a similar intensity, humor, and maturity appropriate to the series, moving from a supporting role in InD4 to a leading role in the future (InD5, InD6?). Indy 4 provides an opportunity to pass the baton to the next generation. Think credibility in the role. Ford was so successful because of his strength of character and depth. If sean connery reprises his role as indys father it would make the movie much enjoyable to see. I am hoping that the storyline is well written and isn't stupid at all but one thing I do know is that the visual effects would surely be something else (Reply to this) |

Sure they could do another Indiana Jones without Ford, but it just wouldn't be the same. The same thing goes with Spielberg/Lucas' collaboration together on the films! (Reply to this) |
