Rambo was always the anti-hero, but sold differently to conservative markets. So seeing how the Iraq war is eerily similar to Vietnam, Stallone should incorporate current events into the script, evoking the same feeling of the first film. Rambo needs something personal to identify with to make him come full circle. Something that draws him into action.
