Newcomer Chosen to be Rambo's Next Adversary
by Scott Weinberg | March 02, 2007

Former Shan Army solider Sai Mawng has been cast as the head baddie in Sylvester Stallone's upcoming action flick. The title of said flick will be either "Rambo 4: In the Serpent's Eye" or "John Rambo." Either way, expect a lot of bullets.

Sly's casting directors were reportedly "looking for a 'Burmese male, 32-40, military-looking man, character face, unlikable.'" And apparently Mr. Mawng fits that bill perfectly. Plus I'm sure the military training will come in handy.

Production on "Rambo 4" has begun down in Thailand.

I'm sure the guy was thrilled when he heard one of the things that got him the role was that he was unlikeable.
