Determined to investigate the circumstances behind his brother's death, Harry and his wife Valerie pick up and move into his late brother's house in Cornwall. There, Harry learns about the reclusive Dr. Franklyn, a former theology professor who specialized in studying arcane religions, and his daughter Anna. After some more prying into the life of Dr, Franklyn, Harry is attacked by a strange reptilian creature who miraculously leaves him alive and convinced that he has found his brother's killer. One of Hammer's best movies, THE REPTILE is by turns atmospheric and gruesome, and is a thoroughly creepy and entertaining film. [More]
