The sequel to the Japanese horror sensation RINGU, RINGU 2 picks up right after where the first film left off. While the police and scientists try to explain the mysterious and deadly hauntings of dead Sadako, Mai Takano attempts to find where Reiko Asakawa and her son Yoichi are hiding, as they are the only ones to have survived an encounter with Sadako's vengeful spirit. But things grow more complicated--and ominous--when it appears that Sadako's still stalks the living, and that Yoichi is developing strange psychic powers that may link him to the ghostly girl. RINGU 2 was, like the first film, directed by Hideo Nakata in a manner that relies more on atmosphere and the slow build of suspense than gore and sudden frights. [More]

Reviews
Less is often more but in the case of The Ring Two, the lazily-titled sequel to the popular -- and enormously successful -- The Ring, more is less, more or less.
