Determined to make something real, he teams with his fellow student Lars (Billy Jayne), a pretentious artist from a wealthy family, to capture truth 24 times per second. The truth they find comes in the form of a beautiful neighbor woman, Blue (Jennifer Rubin), who they learn is a hit woman. Alex approaches her about filming her last hit and learns much more about Blue, including her abusive upbringing.
