It is a good show, often quite entertaining. But the fact that it might have been even more than it is makes watching Roughnecks almost a little frustrating.

CGI animation is great, but even those who believe action is everything may find themselves, after 778 minutes of bug-blasting, yearning for a bit more character and plot.
