First Pics of "Rush Hour 3" Hit the Scene
by Scott Weinberg | January 16, 2007

Step right up, "Rush Hour" fans, we've got you're very first snapshots from the flick's second sequel, the cleverly-titled "Rush Hour 3," which reunites Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker with director Brett Ratner and screenwriter Jeff Nathanson -- plus a few new friends/foes.

Check out four new shots from "Rush Hour 3" right here at IGN Movies.

...and right here is where I generally try to fill the story with a bit more information, but since all we're reporting here is a bunch of pics from an upcoming action comedy, I'll just use this space to remind you all that Chris Tucker got $25 million for this movie. $25 million! And if I remember correctly, the guy turned it down the first time. (Or maybe it was only $20 million at that point.)

Throw Chan, Ratner and Nathanson into the equation and you're looking at one BIG expense on behalf of New Line Cinema. Plus the supporting cast is nothing to sneeze at: Max Von Sydow, Vinnie Jones, Roselyn Sanchez, Hiroyuki Sanada and ... Roman Polanski? Yep.

"RH3" opens on August 10th.

I remember Jackie Chan appearing on the Tonight Show and saying that Chris tried to convince him to demand more money from the studio. Guess Chris was just doing it so he could convince the studio to get him more money too.

25 million? that guy isn't good enough for 25 million dollars does he even realize how much that is he should be thankful he's getting anything after his preformance in the last two movies and any other movies that he has done for that matter. Anyway i didn't enjoy the first two movies so i don't see why for any reason i should enjoy this one but come on 25 million if i were them i would be like fuck you and hire somebody else.........like dave chapelle.

If they couldn't get Chris Tucker they should have just decided NOT TO MAKE ANOTHER SEQUEL.

Oh well.

I did like him in The Fifth Element.
