Wayans Pitch is "Pretty Ugly" Indeed
by Scott Weinberg | August 21, 2006
Discuss Article
Dug "Scary Movie"? Loved "White Chicks"? Laughed your freakin' butt off during "Little Man"? Well here's some good news for you: The Wayanses have signed a deal for their next flick. It'll be called "Pretty Ugly."

From The Hollywood Reporter: "Marlon Wayans is grooming "Pretty Ugly" for DreamWorks Studios. Wayans is set to develop, produce and star in the story about a handsome lifestyle mogul who wakes up hideously ugly because of a curse. As a result he must discover his inner beauty to save his company and win over the woman he loves. The project originated at DreamWorks and then was picked up by Walt Disney Pictures. It went into turnaround and recently returned to DreamWorks where studio execs warmed to Wayans fresh take."

Wait, which one's Marlon again?

I hope they use either some really cheap looking CGI effects or really unintentionally creepy makeup....they've NEVER done that before!

...perhaps one day the wayan's will make a real movie

One day America will stop paying to see their movies. Then, and only then, will this nonsense be over with.

Do you think this is going to end their B-movie trilogy? White Chicks, Little Man, and Pretty Ugly. They will go back to making good movies after this next one right?

"Dug "Scary Movie"?"

eh, it was okay the first time, but it got repetitive and tiresome the second, third, and fourth time around. ENOUGH ALREADY!

"Loved "White Chicks"?"

the make-up made them look like a couple of Rocky Dennises. i hope to God that Rick Baker didn't do the make-up, since i wouldn't want this movie on my resume if i were him. hell, i wouldn't want that movie on my resume if i were just ME.

"Laughed your freakin' butt off during "Little Man"?"

sure, when i saw the same premise in a 50-year-old Bugs Bunny cartoon. Warner Bros. should sue.

the only reason these talentless pricks keep getting to make these horrid movies is because they have a built-in audience of easy-to-please African Americans who will go to a movie just because it's made and starred by other African Americans.

Not enough in the universe. The world would explode and we'd all be dead but the Waynes' and Uwe Boll would live on, floating through space until they crashed onto an alien planet only to release their crappy movies there and make even more money

The Wayans are pioneers damn it and you can smoke THAT fool.
They have made some great huge comedy strokes and you will NOT put them in the same sack as that sucker Uwe Boll and I didn't even SEE Bloodrayne.
All of those Wayans have SO much respect!
