First Pair of "Hot Fuzz" Teasers Hit the Net!
by Scott Weinberg | October 17, 2006
Discuss Article
I recently spent a few days in London and I bought precisely two DVDs: "Spaced" Season 1 and "Spaced" Season 2. (It's the brilliant British sitcom that the "Shaun of the Dead" guys did right before Shaun.) So the day I get home, what do I find? A pair of rather amusing teaser trailers for the boys' next project: The cop comedy "Hot Fuzz"!

Click here for a rather fine breakdown of the clips' locations, courtesy of SolaceInCinema.com. Then find the links that give you the goods with the least amount of delays. They're worth it.

"Hot Fuzz" comes from Edgar Wright, Simon Pegg, and Nick Frost -- and if you don't know who those guys are by now, you just gotta go out and buy "Shaun of the Dead" already ... or "Spaced."

That looks amazing. SOTD is probably one of my favorite movies, and the bits and pieces of Spaced I've seen are amazing, (where the hell is R1 love?) and I was hoping this would be just as good. It looks to blow my expectations away.

I like the SOTD nod at the end of trailer 2, and kudos to them for not pulling the exact same gag where people might expect it.

This is what I think Hot Fuzz is looking like:

Let's pretend that Bad Boys was good.

Whoa.

Now, let's make it British.

Yeah.

Well put, Rock. Except, if you think about it, Bad Boys 2 was AWESOME. In the same way that Poseidon was awesome. Meaning it wasn't. It was just hilarious. But this ACTUALLY looks awesome. Get my meaning?
