Reviews
Burns' follow-up to 1995's witty The Brothers McMullen continues his wry examination of Irish machismo and its growing irrelevance in the '90s.
A nice and pleasant effort that gets Burns past his sophomore test.
Terrible messages about relationships. Ed Burns is a mysoginist. But some laughs, could be worse.
Sluggish and stiff run-of-the-mill romance comedy that clogs the heart more than it pumps anything remotely stimulating
Although the characters are mostly attractive, and some funny things happen between them, most of the movie is given over to scenes of one character complaining to a second character about a third who is not present.
