Yeah it is pretty mixed, I still think Speed Racer will be cool... I still think Transformers was pretty good, hated Popeye, didnt completely hate Super Mario Bros. its fun to laugh at, hated the Simpsons movie, The Simpsons was really good, I mostly want a Arrested Development movie.

Super Mario Brothers was based on the video game series. I don't think the cartoon was big enough to warrant a movie.

As for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, is it too much to ask that people recognize that it is primarily a COMIC BOOK series, not a cartoon? I think if we realized that we could get away from the hammy comedy that keep the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movies from being better.

I haven't seen the Scooby Doo movie but I have see all the rest on that list. I have to disagree with the claim that Popeye is a good movie. Mario Bros. is just ridiculous. Like jokerboy said it's funny because it's so bad. I think the best movie on that list is the 1990 TMNT.

Forget that Crap about what they say about Speed Racer. i just came back from watching it, And i think it was great. The Visual Effects is 2 thumbs up for me, i thinks its a new landmark of visual effects. I really dont know y they gave it a bad review though but it is worth seeing.

Just saw S.Racer, I thought it was pretty good (8/10). I just wish they took out Speed's one liners when he was racing. Racer X is ausome!

didn't you ever watch those old TMNT cartoons? Back in the late 80's the Turtles cartoon was the most poular one on TV by far, because Transformers and G.I. Joe had died by then. I used to tape every episode. Should I be saying that?

When the movies came out, TMNT was WAY more "cartoon" than comic book. Sure, the movie was based more on the comic story, but if it wasn't for the cartoon show's popularity, the movie would never have existed. It only got its comic book ID back after the FIRST cartoon died.

They sure look bad now, though, in retrospect...

Oh, I fully realize that to popular culture, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is a cartoon first and foremost, and I have no problem with its inclusion on that list. I just think the property as a whole would be fairing better if we'd kind of, you know, forget that, and remember that it's actually a very well done comic book. The animated TMNT was a lot closer to the comic book than any other adaptation, and I think that's probably why if you ask real TMNT fans, they'll tell you it's been the best.

I totally disagree with you. I was a huge fan of both the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon and the comic series. And I don't think the recent animated TMNT holds a candle to the original live action movie. I for one think the first two live action movies still hold up pretty well.
