Second Trailer for "Shrek the Third"
May 2007 looks like it could be an absolute record-smasher, and DreamWorks' "Shrek the Third" is poised to be one of the big heavy hitters. Not that we needed an extra promotional clip to psych the kids up (three months early!) but there's a brand-new trailer that might be worth checking out.
Enjoy the new trailer over at EmpireMovies.com.
Opening on May 18th (two weeks after "Spider-Man 3" and one week before "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End"), "Shrek the Third" seems like a lock to be one of the (early) summer's biggest (and most profitable) movies. (The last one did almost $900 million worldwide, don't forget.)
I've been trying to avoid plot spoilers, but I can tell you that I'm pretty psyched about all the new cast additions. (Did you know that Jim from "The Office" was playing Sir Lancelot? And that Eric Idle was tagged to play Merlin the Magician?? That's one-third of Monty Python in this movie!)

on Feb 05 2007 01:45 PM John Krazinski is an excellent addition. if you watch the office you would know he is hillarious, and it's nice to see (or hear) him in something else. And with Eric Idle in here it will live up beyond expectation. (Reply to this) |
