Why does everything in Sci-fi that involves a bar have to be related to Star Wars ? I'm thinking your actually a STAR WARS fan and your just bashing all the Star trek movies and rating the bad star trek films higher then the actual good ones. What a shame.... Dull ? This movie is not completely dull. Although i do share some of that feeling, its still a bombastic movie with a more adventurous spirit then wrath of khan. This is a movie about sacrifice, captain kirk sacrifices his son and ship and his career to save his friend. I think you lost the main idea of the movie while you were day-dreaming of fighting in a light-saber fight.
