Josh Larsen
...mostly combines the interminable interstellar politics of the later Star Wars films with the slowest game of Clue you've ever played. [More]

Politics of star wars ? What the hell are you talking about star wars fanboy ? You've seem to reference Star Wars a lot in these Star Trek movie reviews. First of all... Slowest game of clue ? Once again... you want the dumb-down action adventure movie like Star wars !!!! THIS ISN'T STAR WARS JOSH LARSEN ! Although i do believe Star Trek can use some ''rock and roll'', the tone and pacing of the film is meant to be slow. Its like Shakespeare in Space. Its trying to imitate that. Not Star wars josh ! Lets be simple here... this movie isn't for JOSH LARSEN.... Now instead of giving a UNIVERSAL review that all people can relate too (like the pro movie reviewers such as mr.Ebert, etc) , we instead get a review based PURELY on Josh Larsen's interests not based on the actual movies strengths and weaknesses). Which is sad, because that doesn't represent everyone. Purely bad review.....

Josh this is probably the stupidest take I've ever heard on this film. How can you possibly draw a parallel between the politics in the star wars films versus star trek? This is supposed to be a juxtaposition of the cold war; Star Wars is about the hostile transition from democracy to monarchy. You have absolutely no idea as to what you're talking about. That being said, I'm asking you. Literally, asking - to stop reviewing films. All you do is bring the rating down on otherwise spectacular classics.

Consider a line of work more on-par with your level of critical thinking, such as cashiering.

All I have to say about the above review is that it doesn't deserve a place on Rotten Tomatoes. It's a paragraph one and has no bearing on the film at all. This is merely someone stating their personal opinion and not reviewing the film on any critical level at all. The review goes off track almost immediately by comparing it to the latest Star Wars movies which came out years after this film. As someone else put it. Josh go do something more useful like working at a damn car wash because reviewing is obviously not your strong point.
