The group also battles the evil Goa'uld Ra, a race of aliens out to dominate the universe. The team is comprised of Daniel Jackson (Micheal Shanks), Sam Carter (Amanda Tapping), and Teal'c (Christopher Judge). In season 6, Michael Shanks leaves the show, and scientist Jonas Quinn (Corin Nemec) joins the team.
