Storm Warning will leave your mind as soon as you've finished watching it
Storm Warning isn't very original, and it isn't fancy, but it is effective and fans of brutal 70s horror will get a kick out of this one.
Derivative, obvious, and simplistic, but it's also shot with a lot of style, edited with a lot of kick, and (best of all) it knows just when to deliver its goods and roll the credits.
The film moves along at a crackling pace and the action shifts slickly from gathering menace to outrageous violence without missing a beat.
'I think Gregg MacLean, who made WOLF CREEK, started this whole new genre -- the anti-tourism genre. I'm just following in his footsteps. It's like, just don't come to Australia!'
