Another needless Disney sequel, but it also happens to be animated pretty decently.

I’ll take Tarzan II for the enjoyable kid’s movie it is and pray Disney doesn’t go for a Tarzan trilogy.
...it seems fairly obvious that adults will find Tarzan II tedious and tiresome.
It maintains the high audio and video qualities of its predecessor, but it's otherwise aimed strictly at the kiddie set.
If it's fair to knock Disney for churning out what's clearly some inferior product, I think it's only right to take note when said product starts to show signs of improvement.
The better parts of this movie often get swamped in the 'armchair psychology' plot, which seems like an odd message to be aimed at the kids watching...
