Batman Bits: A New Mayor and Harvey Dent's Campaign Poster
by Scott Weinberg | May 18, 2007
Blog Article | Discuss Article
Here's a few little tidbits to keep you "Batman" freaks happy...

Remember a few days back when we showed you that one-page "Dark Knight" website? Looks like there's a new addition over there: A campaign poster for Harvey Dent, potential district attorney of Gotham who looks a whole lot like Aaron Eckhart.

We also just got word that Nestor Carbonell has joined the cast. He'll be playing the mayor of Gotham City. You may remember Carbonell from his work in "Smokin' Aces" or as the only funny character on that "Suddenly Susan" sitcom -- but the superhero geeks will recall the actor's turn as "Batmanuel" on Fox's short-lived "Tick" series.

And in case we didn't cover this before, it looks like Eric Roberts will be playing a gangster called Sal Maroni, aka the bad man who helped turn Harvey Dent into the villainous Two-Face.

Looks cool, but I'd rather see a shot of the Joker.

uh, wrong thread.

Why do movie campaign posters, news casts, and other things always look so cheesy and fake? I imagine it'll look better in context, but it doesn't look realistic. It's all about the details I suppose. Real campaign posters are much more detailed. I'm excited about Dent being in this movie, too bad they axed Lando though. ;)

so theyre going with the long halloween origin or something like that? I would have liked to see the one where the acid was intended to hit joker and he caught it instead...

Yeah I had a case of idocy on that post. I am a little sceptical about Ledger myself, but after begins I have complete trust in Nolan. I think Bale has been the best Batman yet.

i would also like to see chief o harah, in the dark knight, i thought dick van dyke would be a great version, if based on the long halloween. Also, Isla Fisher as Barberah gordon.

Just keeps getting better and better!
The character of Richard Alpert on Lost is getting pretty intense thanks to great acting by Nestor Carbonell. I didn't even realize that he was the same guy from Smokin Aces until just know! He was great in that movie too! This Dark Knight cast is STACKED will great talent! I'm predicting the best comic book movie and the best sequel ever!!! Plus Christan Bale as Bruce Wayne could not be more perfect! He's got to be one of the best actor around at the moment along with Clive Owen and Johnny Depp. (Can't wait to see J.D. in Sin City 2 or 3!)

That's pretty sweet that Carbonell has joined the cast, he really is doing a great job on Lost right now, can't wait for this seasons grand hora next week, it should be pretty damn cool.

Got that right!
The only bad thing about next week being the finale is the wait until next season! SEVEN MONTHS!!! But apparently the Season 3 dvd box is supposed to come up a whole load of special features including a demo for the Lost video game (Which console is still undetermined) And a mystery disc that all that has been said is that this disc will "tie us over" until season 4! Now whatever the hell that could be is what I want to know!!!

Yeah that sucks it's gonna seem like a life time to get here, that's forever, at least it will be nonstop with no breaks for the whole season. And yeah I am really curious as to what the hell is on that mystery disc.

Hopefully it comes out on PS2 since some of us keep it cheap! They are saying by time it actually comes out it may be a little after the PS2s days leaving all of us in the dark saving money!!!
