The Incredible Hulk Spoilers!
IESB's got Norton's script.
by Jeff Giles | October 02, 2007
Discuss Article
Five short years after Ang Lee underwhelmed critics and comics fans with his Hulk, Edward Norton will be seeking to smash box-office records with The Incredible Hulk -- and if IESB is to be believed, Norton's off to an excellent start.

The site claims to have obtained a draft of Norton's script, dated May 13, and describes it as "two (make that 100) steps ahead of the 2003 edition...The Hulk is the star of this film and makes quite a few appearances throughout."

Do spoilers follow? Yes indeed, and if you want to read 'em, it's as simple as clicking the link below. Take care not to spill any gamma-radiated beans here in the comments, but feel free to let us all know whether or not you agree with IESB's assessment of The Incredible Hulk as "an incredible ride"!

I'm curious as to what the rest of the cast will be like. If they can get good actors to play the other Hulk characters then we're pretty set. Also I sure hope those "Hulk"-scenes are done well, it wouldn't be a Hulk movie if the destruction isn't worth watching.

Yeah, Ang Lee is a good director, he just shouldn't have directed the Hulk.

I don't like that the director of Danny the Dog is involved... bad vibrations.

While not not being a big fan of the comic book, I thought Ang Lee's movie was not great but not bad either. After reading the script overview for the new movie I think this will give the fans of the comics what they want, expect and deserve to see on the silver screen.

Sounds good, seems to be moving along well. Norton will make this movie his own as always.

Read spoilers, seems like it will be fun provided that Hulk and villain's special effects are done super-awesome good and performances are sincere and interesting.

I'd read the "spoilers" but I'll just guess at them instead. The Hulk smashes a whole bunch of stuff, spends time at the lab, smashes more stuff, finds out his girlfriend is in peril, saves her, smashes stuff, kills the bad guy, but leaves an opening for a sequel. Riveting!

DATED MAY 13TH?!?! Why, that's my birthday. If this movie is a success I'll gladly take responsiblity. Otherwise it's merely a coincidence.

I sure do! He did a good job in ang lee's version. so did Jennifer Connelly and Nick Nolte. just because they make a better movie doesn't take away from the performers in the last one. I'm excited for this.

Whoa, Whoa, Whoa. Eric Bana is great. He was good in Troy and even better in Munich. With that said, no, I don't feel bad for him, he has other options. Besides, didn't he back out of this movie first? I could be wrong.

If I'm not mistaken, Bana - quite wisely - elected to pull out of a second Hulk project when it was (originally) announced that it was intended to be a direct-to-dvd (eek!) low-budget affair.

And while I'm very much looking forward to seeing what Norton will bring to the role, I piss in the eye of anyone who'd dismiss Bana's excellent turn as Banner. Ever since seeing him in the movie Chopper, it's been apparent to me that Eric Bana is an exceptional talent.

Too bad this movie goes up against M. Night Shyamalan's The Happening.
