I love Sam Mendes, I think he is the only director who has started his career 3 for 3 in my opinion, and his next one sounds great. But what the hell is up with his fifth one, a comedy that has three stupid actors signed to it so far, plus the great Collette. I'm happy to see that Maybury finaly has another movie in the works, kinda wish it was something differnt but at least he is getting work.

Good way of putting it. One of the only Film Companies were you can look at their logo and know whatever it is they put out will be worth the ticket price. I have yet to regret watching a Pixar film.

I'm loving the Pixar lineup. Can't wait to see how they start expanding into different genres etc.

...I'm not even gonna share my feelings about Robosapien.
None of these alien/invasion movies sound interesting so far.
Bobism:?
Emme: Noooooo
High School Musical: End It
Surrogates: I don't see how they can make this believable enough to be compelling, but you never know.

How many times was the word "remake" used?

The only thing I hate is that there still isn't an Incredibles 2 announced :(

I personally would love to see another incredibles... but if anything... letting it slip to past 2013 is ok with me as long as these movies betwixt them keep me entertained.

OMG, tell me about it. I guess I could try to hide this rampant problem with words like "redo", "reinvention", "reimagining"... but I figure the overwhelming redundant use of "remake" hammers the point home. : P

Do the names Quentin Tarantino (Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown), Paul Thomas Anderson (Hard Eight, Boogie Nights, Magnolia), and Alejandro Gonzalez-Inarritu (Amores Perros, 21 Grams, Babel) ring a bell????

Pixar continually makes me nervous with their highly ambitious movie ideas, but I've yet to had my fears confirmed. If the worst they've done is make a great movie that's not quite up to snuff (Cars), I guess I don't have too much to worry about. I applaud their bravery, and I do hope it turns out well for them. The moviemaking world would be a better place if more studios were as bold as Pixar.

Everybody's Fine sounds potentially awesome. Robert de Niro heading a movie is always an excuse for anticipation, at the very least.

Haha, Meg's getting made.

Hurray for new Werner Herzog movies.

Dare I hope that Spectacular Regret will actually be good? It sounds like a decent premise, and The Blair Witch Project was excellent.

Has that controversy about Ving Rhames finally subsided? Seems like it, seeing as he's allowed back in new movies.

Thundercade will inevitably be compared and contrasted against The King of Kong. It's going to have to be really amazing for people to not just write it off as a poor man's King of Kong...Of course, I'm pretty sure that's exactly what it will end up being.

Sam Mendes is a pretty awesome director; can't wait for Revolutionary Road and whatever the next one will be. I've only ever seen Maya Rudolph in Idiocracy, in which she held her own adequately. However, she is married to the great Paul Thomas Anderson. If PTA sees something in her, I think that just about sells me on her ability as an intelligent actress.

Natalie Portman in the new Wuthering Heights is fine by me.

Did anybody notice that Pixar is releasing two films in one year? That'll be an interesting competition at the Oscars.

Of course JHolmes17 I have heard of all three of them. Tarantino always entertains me and I always look forward to his new stuff, I'm one of the few that thought Death Proof was the better half of Grindhouse, but I think he is slightly overrated and I wouldn't declare most of his movies as masterpieces. As for Aljendro, he really doesn't do that much for me, I was hugely disappointed in 21 Grams(C). As for PTA, I'm not going to lie I still haven't seen all of his first three, I really do need to get on that.

I dunno about Cars 2. Then again, Pixar's ideas/trailers have always made me think the movies are going to be merely so-so and upon actually seeing the movies I am proven wrong time and again. The idea of Toy Story 2 didn't thrill me, but they made it as good or better than the original; Pixar doesn't handle anything carelessly, I doubt they'd tackle a project if it didn't have some real promise. So Cars, and Toy Story 3....? I say, as usual, sounds less than thrilling; but I'm looking forward to being surprised yet again!

What's with the spam? I'm surprised a mod hasn't deleted those yet.

And you guys STILL need to add a "report abuse" feature for stuff like that.
