Dernit, deadlaus7 stole my Transformers 2 script I was going to write! The only additions is that several of the explosions between witty black actor quotes must involve several really large vehicles...The kind of vehicles that one usually only sees in rock quarries...And when they blow huge tires and random bodies are always flying amongst huge, orange plumes. Keyword here being; HUGE!

I am excited for transformers 2. Looking forward to seeing new robots and if the original cast will be back.

Wow, the implicit message is that a human being wrote the script to the first movie. I thought it was a chimp at the Bronx Zoo.

My one plea:

BRING BACK THE AC-130!

Seeing that flying battleship tear into the scorpion was one of the best moments of the first film.

The only kind of writing I want to see from Michael Bay is an extended apology for all the pitiful sack of **** movies that he's directed in the past.

Seriously, I wasted money on Pearl Harbor and crossed my fingers with Armageddon and have seen Transformers on video and I leave every movie saddened by the waste of great special effects work that was polluted by ridiculous character dialogue and intellectually insulting plot lines.

Bay is a waste; I am shocked he's at all connected with Spielberg.

michael bay sucks. i can't believe how boring Transformers was. it was like he took all his favorite parts of all his other crappy movies, dumped them into one script and added giant robots in the mix.

i'll stick to my DVDs of the original cartoon series, even the original Transformers: The Movie.

I hope he keeps the movie adult orientated and it doesn't turn to cheesy dialogue between the robots for the kids' sake. And Michael Bay already said that he's not bringing Jazz back. I'm definetly anticipating # 2 greatly, but on one condition: MORE ROBOT SCREEN TIME AND DIALOGUE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, Shia and Megan Fox will be back. They should just let Michael Bay handle the action scenes, let somebody else handle the dialogue, script, story, everything else.

Michael Bay writes? I didn't know he was even a higher functioning being, let alone one that could write.

We can't believe $hit Michael Bay says or pretends to "confirm" about the forthcoming movie. All we can really do is wait. Most would be well advised to not even entertain his little "let's fake out the fans" game that he's trying to play.

ha! doesn't exactly surprise me about the quikness of his writing. I mean how long can the script for the first film have taken him? An hour?
Besides, the first film wasn't about script, it was about spectacle. Bay had to flaunt some serious razzle dazzle to make up for shabby writing and now he'll have to outdo the first film's visual effects if he's to succeed.

Why do you all continually complain about Bay's (admittedly ridiculous, explosive, entertaining, and blockbuster-intended) movies when he's one of the most popular movie-makers these days?
