it really doesnt take a rocket scientist to do this.

The story was set up at the end of first movie, Both Starscream and Prime was calling out for help, so they probably make contact with cybertron.

I would love to see constructicons or some type of multi robot, giant mega transformation. And the story should involve contacting new robots in space and/or finding some more exisiting ones on earth thats been crashed or dormant, IE Skyfire or dino bots. Not sure why dinobots are so hated but I love em and they will work.

The movie will easily be a huge hit, because all the little girls care about now is Hannah Montana, and all the little boys want transformers.

"I write all my movies" Michael Bay...

Big explosion. Black guy says something hilarious. Another explosion in the middle of awesome car chase. Robot does something (maybe the robot dance?)Black guy says something that only a black guy would say. Something cool happens. One more giant explosion. Black guy dies, white guy is sad. Robots also cry. 360 degree dolly shot around everything. Credits explode. The End.

The only additions is that several of the explosions between witty black actor quotes must involve several really large vehicles...The kind of vehicles that one usually only sees in rock quarries...And when they blow huge tires and random bodies are always flying amongst huge, orange plumes. The only kind of writing I want to see from Michael Bay is an extended apology for all the pitiful sack of **** movies that he's directed in the past.

Seriously, I wasted money on Pearl Harbor and crossed my fingers with Armageddon and have seen Transformers on video and I leave every movie saddened by the waste of great special effects work that was polluted by ridiculous character dialogue and intellectually insulting plot lines.

Bay is a waste; I am shocked he's at all connected with Spielberg.

Besides, the first film wasn't about script, it was about spectacle. Bay had to flaunt some serious razzle dazzle to make up for shabby writing and now he'll have to outdo the first film's visual effects if he's to succeed.

As an avid G1 fan, it bothers me greatly that Bay would even dare pick up a pencil and contemplate writing anything but his own name. There is a reason why newspapers publish articles at an 8th grade reading level and the SAT gives 700 points for just adding your name to the top of the page. He has always been an action expert, not by any means of the word a writer. I did appreciate T1'07 for what it was. I understood that he couldn't make a movie that was soley based on G1 due to the generation gap and the need to make a substantial profit. I only wish that there was more character development.

Yet, I really hope that this is one of his on-going attempts to confuse the fanbase. For all those that don't know, Bay has a history of throwing false stories and scripts into the media in an attempt to throw fans off. Bay is no writer.

Now with all of that said, I don't believe Bay when he says he wrote it. Spielberg has stated over the last two months that he is going to pay special attention to this project and make sure that the characters are developed greatly. Spielberg wants there to be a lot more depth to T2's story, since we all know the action will be top notch. There was an interview not too long ago where he is quoted as saying that the ending of T2 will be more of an ending like Empire, a dark ending that is able to be transitioned into the third movie. I will try to find that interview and post the link here.

All-in-all, I don't see Spielberg letting Bay destroy this movie. He has already said that this trilogy means the most to him since Indiana. Hell, he used to play with G1 toys in the 80's with his kids and still has one of the largest collections in the world.

In Spielberg I trust.

The story was stupid the acting was horrible but who cares this all about the action. Starscream taking it to the jets over the city, missiles flying , autobots dodging and transforming in mid leaps. No way he could have 30 transformers running around. Be realistic the movie would never get made.

Of COURSE he already wrote it, and I have the script. It was written on a napkin from Chili's:

"First, we see some BIG, CRAZY ROBOTS. They...uhh...what's the word? Change...uhh...changeform!! They changeform from stuff like...big-*** boats, and scooters and treadmills n' stuff.

So these big, crazy robots start walkin' around and people are all like "WOAH! That used to be my treadmill!! Holycrap!"

Then kapow! Some other big, crazy robots show up...they changeform out of super-fast looking cars (pimped cars??) bicycles and mailboxes. These robots start fightin' with other robots.

Then, WOAH...some of these robots are good, and some are bad. Like, REAL bad. Some may even have GLOWING RED EYES! THAT SHOOT LASERS! Ehh...maybe not lasers. Lasers don't go "BOOM" enough.

Anyways, these changeformers are REALLY kickin' each others' asses. The people who used to own the items they changed from, like xboxes and DVD players n' stuff...well, they're superpissed cuz' they don't have an xbox anymore...but they are also scared cuz their xbox is totally gunna destroy them if the good robots don't win.

Then...KABOOOOOOOM!!! A giant explosion happens. I don't know why. It just does. The bad changeformers all totally melt n' stuff...we see their red eyes getting dim and their mean-*** robot voice saying "NOOOOOOOO! I'm melll-tinnnng!" Then they die.

All the good robots and humans celebrate (at Chili's?), and then the robots changeform back into jetskis and pencils.

THE END!"

What? It was a VERY BIG napkin!

So, there you have it. The script to Changeformers II.

I dunno where they all the fans of this movie went, but I'll say it alone: I LOVED THIS MOVIE. I'm a life-long trasnformers fand and I had more fun at this movie than I've had in a VERY long time (YES, I was there with a girl but NO she did not *augment* the movie) The last time I saw repeat viewings of a film was Spider-man, five years ago and the last movie before that was the Matrix-- which should tell everyone where I fall on the spectrum so you can decide how 'insane' or 'gay' I am.

Is Bay a great director? NOT in any traditional sense. Do I think he can handle drama? Not unless 'drama' equals 'beautiful people moving in slow motion in the sunset as a camera circles them.' Did he put heart, soul and balls in the T1? I believe so. And I have to say I'd much rather hear about a director feverishly pouring out a script he believes in (though not so much to meet a deadline-yikes) than being handed some corporate sh#t to direct.

And as long as I'm sermonizing: Here's the problem with too many transformers (whatever 'too many' is): the more characters you develop, the more screen time you need. If you don't have enough, you end up with Spider-man 3 or Batman & Robin: too many distractions, not enough story to make you care. It's ALL about the writing. Bay writing a script for Bay is a good thing for me, if he ends up ringing the bell like he did in T1.

I've always had a love/hate relationship with Michael Bay's films. I certainly don't hate em all. Transformers put me on the fence though, because while there was a lot that I must admit to having liked, there's also a lot more that left plenty to be desired. Two thumbs up of course for the action, but I was ultimately underwhelmed by the story (and people can call me whatever the fu ck they want for that).

Watching Transformers was an experience similar to the one I had watching the introductory X Men and Spider-Man films. Left em both with a fist full of gripes, but retained hope that the sequels would deliver. My hopes were met on both counts (SM2, X2), and I'm hoping for the same from Transformers 2. Especially if there's any truth to Spielberg's devotion to advancing the story and adding in some character depth.

I really thought Bay did a pretty good job with Transformers. Since he now says that all the rumors you read are going to be false, and his history of giving out false info anyway, why does anyone take this seriously? As far as T1 goes, I think Shia did a good job, (considering when he was shooting his scenes he usually had a pool with a cardboard robot face on it to talk to,) and Megan Fox I thought .... well, she's a fox!! Who cares if she can act! LOL. Now on to the new movie.

I think the number of robots in the 1st movie is a number that Bay should stick with. Like one poster said, if you add more, it'll clutter everything up like in Spider-Man 3. Since they were originally going to have Arcee in the 1st movie, (watch your second disc of T1 for that info,) I agree with Dinogirl .... Sam has Bumblebee, Fox's character could have Arcee. Besides, if you've seen the Arcee movie toy, Fox would look super-fine on a bike like that. But here's where you all are going to flip on me and rip this post apart .......

Transformers 2 needs to continue the storyline from the 1st one I think. The main focus should be on The Decepticons finding a new leader. So therefore, NO Dinobots or Constructicons. Sorry all, it's too soon for them. In my opinion, introduce GALVATRON! Bring in Galvatron, but not entirely like the Unicron storyline from the animated movie. Something like, Starscream is trying to be the new Decepticon leader, and those still loyal to Megatron, (I'm assuming that would be Frenzy and Barricade,) go to that place in the ocean and recover what's left of Megatron and rebuild him and bring him back online as Galvatron. They'll have to introduce a couple new Decepticons considering Blackout, Bonecrusher, and Devastator/Brawl were killed in the 1st one.

So there's my 2 cents ..... have at me all!
